Stretch Conquers Yukon

The MaXentric team headed to Alaska for SOFAM 26 to put STRETCH (our Sensor-based Tactical Response and Evaluation for Triage and Continuous Healthcare system) to the test in extreme arctic environments. Developed under an Army SBIR, STRETCH is a low-profile, flexible, and wearable vital sign monitor designed to track everything from heart rate and respiration to core body temperature and blood oxygenation. 

MaXentric was the only company invited to conduct exclusive pre-event testing in Anchorage, collecting critical data on warfighters during simulated snow evacuations. On top of that, we were one of only five teams selected to participate in extended, multi-week field testing alongside Special Forces medics during their active cold-weather training scenarios. 

This hands-on testing in an active operational environment allowed us to collect invaluable data, open up new integration pathways with key vendors, and identify additional funding sources to accelerate development.
