DepLife™
DepLife™ is comprised of three main components: an encased radar system, mounting tripod, and Android device that connects to the radar to stream results wirelessly. Its design was developed with ease of assembly in mind, so anyone can set up the system.
DepLife™ detection system makes it an essential device for first responders, tactical teams, and other professions that require rapid sensor imagery. MaXentric offers a modern, efficient sensor compared to other time-consuming, wall-penetrating technologies on the market.
Technical Overview
The operating radar is an 8GHz UWB-IR MIMO system, which sends out electromagnetic pulses at specific frequencies to build a scene of the locations of reflectors in the scene. The radar system is powered by a Lithium Polymer battery providing 4 hours of operation on a full charge.
The DepLife™ App connects to the radar and automatically begins streaming data. The visualization is composed of a cross-range colormap in birds-eye view with icons annotating the algorithm results. There are 4 different visualization tab options, each showing different filtered results of the raw radar data.
For transport, the DepLife™ system is stored inside a pelican case designed to fit: the DepLife™ radar, the provided Android device, and a USB-A and USB-C charger for both the radar and phone. The tripod is stored separately in its own carry-bag with a storage pocket for the handles and charger.
