Dr. Jonmei Yan is a Lead Engineer spearheading the work of MaXentric’s RF Transceiver, Power Amplified Systems, and Applied EM group. Her oversight also extends towards development on broadband high efficiency PAs, envelope tracking supply modulators, digital signal processing, and many more key areas of electronic advancement. With her steadfast leadership, Dr. Yan has carried out many successful projects at MaXentric specializing on power amplifier-related, linearization and wireless systems ranging from HF to W-band. She is also responsible for directing multiple teams that focus on creating solutions for next-gen commercial applications.

Dr. Yan has authored and co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed technical journals and publications and served as a contributing visiting scholar at UCSD where she continued pushing the boundaries in groundbreaking engineering research. Dr. Yan is currently the regional chair for the IEEE Women in Microwave and has been a member of the MTT-IMS technical program review committee (TPRC) since 2018. Dr. Yan earned her BS, Masters, and Ph.D in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UCSD.
