As Co-Founder and Managing Director of MaXentric Technologies, Kamran Mahbobi presides across all locations overseeing product development and service operations. Mr. Mahbobi has an extensive background in the wireless communication industry leading advanced technology development with companies such as Tetra Tech Inc., Verizon Wireless, and Sirius-XM. Wielding over 30 years of wireless communication design and development experience, Mr. Mahbobi has guided the research and development of many of MaXentric’s flagship products, including its impressive mm-wave technology portfolio.

With his leadership and expertise, Mr. Mahbobi has molded MaXentric Technologies as a forerunner in the advanced wireless communications technology R&D, spanning across many successful projects with government and commercial clients. Notable accolades include the 1997 E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Award for his 1st startup technology company, eXpert Wireless Solutions.

He currently serves as the small business representative for the National Spectrum Consortium’s Executive Committee. Mr. Mahbobi holds a BE and Masters in Electrical Engineering from Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.
