STRETCH

STRETCH (Sensor-based Tactical Response and Evaluation for Triage and Continuous Healthcare) is an intelligent, wireless, flexible, low-profile, wearable physiological monitor. It captures multiple physiological parameters including heart rate, heart rate variability, respiration rate, core body temperature, blood oxygenation, and motion. Development has focused on supporting prolonged holding and stabilization of patients in Expeditionary Advanced Bases (EAB) and Advanced Naval Bases (ANB) operating in austere, communications-limited environments. STRETCH is designed to fit comfortably under body armor, with resistance to shock, impact, and water (IP67). It is sealed with a thin layer of spray insulation, and medical grade silicon. It is designed to use off-the-shelf components (COTS) which are already in the Authorized Medical Allowance List (AMAL). It is intuitive to apply and use so that little-to-no training is needed for buddy and self-aid, or medical personnel in higher echelons of care..

• Comprehensive Vitals: The monitor captures heart rate, heart rate variability, respiration rate, core body temperature, blood oxygenation, and motion. 

• Hardware & Durability: The low-profile patch fits under body armor and is resistant to shock, impact, and water with an IP67 rating. 

• Logistical Superiority: STRETCH is designed to use commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components that are already compliant with the Authorized Medical Allowance List (AMAL), eliminating the need for proprietary replacement parts. 

• Ease of Use: The system is intuitive to apply, requiring little-to-no training for self-aid, buddy-aid, or use by medical personnel. 

• Interoperability: Built on a modular open system architecture (MOSA), it operates seamlessly with BATDOK, TAK, and integrates easily with existing medical platforms. 

• Stand-Alone Interface: It features an independent user interface offering a multi-patient dashboard, streaming waveform data, patient history, and adjustable alerts. 

• Extreme Testing: STRETCH is field-hardened (TRL-7) and validated in fielded trials ranging from extreme heat in Joshua Tree, to extreme cold in Alaskan winter. 

• Beyond Earth: The platform's capabilities secured its inclusion in a subcontract for NASA’s Phase 2 "Mission to Mars"..
