Adagio™
One of MaXentric’s primary goals is to improve linearity in multi-carrier systems without any corresponding efficiency loss. To overcome the hardware limitations of traditional modulators, MaXentric’s engineers devised a digital technique that cleans up signals without sacrificing efficiency. This solution and resulting firmware –Adagio™ – have become an integral part of MaXentric’s multi-carrier envelope tracking technologies.
Adagio™ was first implemented at MaXentric in 2016 for a multi-carrier project. Within a year, Adagio™ had become a fundamental component in all MaXentric envelope tacking packages. MaXentric’s DPD team now oversees the implementation of Adagio™ into other MaXentric products and technologies. Adagio™ is usually paired with MaXPAL™, MaXentric’s premier DPD firmware package for single and multi-carrier systems.
Today, Adagio™ remains one of MaXentric’s flagship technologies and is an essential part of the company’s work on high-power envelope tracking power amplifiers. Adagio™ is a part of all multi-carrier systems designed at MaXentric.
